It is a dark and stormy night . . . no make that a full moon night. No wonder the roads were brimming with driving morons. I love how someone passes you in the opposing lane only to quickly pull in front of you, slow down, then make a right hand turn.
But, by 10 am, I already had a customer pull into my parking lot and thought it would be a busy day. It was, and a heady one to boot. Sold two books and even received a call for another book.
Then. two women stopped in because they thought my shop looked "so cute." I think the exterior is fun and am grateful to my husband for all his hard work in giving the building a face lift.
He has promised to give me a time line for completing the restoration of the back room so that I can finally commit to a long list of prospective students for my writers workshops. Soon . . .
